Google Introduces Adwords Video Ads

'Adwords' have become synonymous with successful online advertising. Google saw Yahoo's Overture system as the way forward. Many assume that it was Google that created the Cost-Per-Click advertising engine when in fact, it was Yahoo. However, Google improved on the concept that sparked the phenomenon.

Adwords have until now, been text and image adverts that appear on the side of Google's search engine results. These adverts are also displayed across a network including other large search engines like 'Ask Jeeves' and 1000's of smaller sites displaying adverts.

Google recently announced its plans to add video ads to Adwords. Marketing managers of corporations and SME's throughout the world will be turning to video to present both products and services.
